Le Grand PalaisBuilt for the 1900 Exposition Universelle (the World Fair of 1900), Le Grand Palais is a premier venue for large-scale temporary exhibits in its National Galleries and the permanent adjoining Palais de la Dcouverte (Palace of Discovery) which is the citys museum dedicated to science and natural history. This is an area I adore and allows you to see quite a variety of landscapes and town, with relatively little driving. you really cant go wrong! Its a great place to take a cooking class (BOOK HERE). We are planning a 15 days vacation between France and Italy and would welcome all suggestions on helping us make this a wonderful vacation !. Its one of my favorite places to go in Italy to enjoy the beach! Once you are done with it, pop by the Palais-Royal, a fantastic photo-spot, and then walk towards the river for your Seine river cruise.
