Its been complained about at length, but I found the competition-focus in the previous season really draining, (and the show was oddly patronising towards the groups), so im glad that Btob and Ikon were there to bring much needed chill! The song sounded better alongside a performance, but coming after last weeks triumphant Move, the finished product felt a little underwhelming. Sadly iKON came last, just because of some knetz and their hate for YGE for no apparant reason. The Boyz Sunwoo picks up on the edgy schtick as well, pointing out some funny tropes in a very self-aware moment. Howeverdue to military services, only 4 members will be participating in Kingdom: Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, and Peniel. Hes such a big part of the group. 3. There was also a little live singing in the SKZ performance so good job ! iKons greatest strength is their stage presence with live singing and rapping, but they didnt utilize that here. As with all the groups, I think their Kingdom run has been hit or miss, but generally on the strong side. You know how MNET works so it isnt new nor surprising for them to treat all the groups equally.
